Hey, I am Macaela.

I am the photographer behind Macaela Lea Photography. I was born and raised on a dairy farm in a small country town in the Mid North Coast, Bunyah. Since finishing school I have moved to the picturesque town of Dungog in the Hunter and love it here. I am a partner and mum to my beautiful daughter. I was first inspired to take photos back when I was in school, mainly animals and landscapes, however since getting older and friends having children I wanted to be able to capture those special moments for them. Now a mum myself, I want to pause time with the lens and remember every little detail.

I absolutely love photography - it's like having the ability to pause the clock and capture moments to be cherished forever. My hope is that I will be able to capture those moments for your family as well.
